Blanc & Noir are a piano duo, based in Turkey, who needed movement added to illustrations (created by Kristiana Parn) for use on-stage, during performance.
I worked closely with them to determine the right amount of movement while meeting a short deadline. I added or increased in number the shooting stars, flapping hair and clothes, etc, after the first pass of animations were created to bring the movement levels up to Blanc & Noir’s vision.
In the video below, the original illustrations are presented followed by a brief section of the finished animations. Each final animation was three minutes in length.
